William B. Potter, OD

Dr. William Potter is an optometric physician and the Chief of Optometry and Contact Lens Services at Millennium Eye Care.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Potter received his degree in optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1983. Prior to joining the practice in 1986, he was optometry clinic chief at the United States Air Force Hospital, Griffiss Air Force Base, New York. I Ie practices general optometry, contact lens care, and refractive surgery co-management.

Dr. Potter is a staff optometrist at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey and is a past president of the Central Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Potter has published articles and lectured extensively, especially on systemic inflammatory conditions that affect the eye. He is also active in clinical investigation of new contact lens products and medications. Current bifocal and astigmatic contact lenses are at the forefront of his practice.

As part of the Millennium Eye Care team. Dr. Potter is available for appointments at the Freehold and Marlboro locations.
 

Diana Q. Stephenson, OD

Dr. Stephenson is an optometrist available to care for Millennium Eye Care patients in Freehold and Old Bridge.

Dr. Stephenson is a graduate of Rutgers University and received her degree of optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Prior to joining Millennium Eye Care, Dr. Stephenson was in private practice with her husband in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. At present, she practices general optometry, as well as fitting of contact lenses. She is a member of the American and New Jersey Optometric Associations.

Dr. Stephenson and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters, Kristen and Allison.  Dr. Stephenson is available for appointments in the Freehold and Marlboro locations.

 

Kerry E. Longo, OD

Dr. Longo is an optometrist with special interest in contact lenses and low vision. She is a graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia where she graduated with honors in chemistry. During Dr. Longo's optometric training, she received clinical honors from the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. She received her degree in optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class. Dr. Longo was the recipient of the Vistakon Award for clinical excellence in contact lens patient care. She was also a presenter of a low vision case report at the 2000 American Academy of Optometry in Orlando, Florida.

During Dr. Longo's training, she traveled to Guatemala as part of a humanitarian mission to provide eye exams to over 2000 people who have no access to eye care. She was also a participant in the vision screening program "Opening Eyes" at the New Jersey Special Olympics Summer Games.

Dr. Longo is originally from Hamilton, New Jersey. She enjoys traveling, reading, yoga and snowboarding.  Dr. Longo is available for appointments in the Freehold, Jackson and Hightstown offices.

  

Nina Lemberg, OD

Dr. Lemberg enjoys primary care optometry, treatment of ocular disease and contact lens fitting.  She is a graduate of Monmouth University where she graduated at the top of her class with honors in Biology.

Dr. Lemberg graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and during her training she worked in Patterson Army Health clinic, and Lyons Veterans Medical Center where she received clinical honors.  During Dr. Lemberg's clinical training she traveled to Jacksonville, Florida as well as Ft. Worth Texas where she received extensive training in ocular disease and contact lens management.

She is a member of New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians as well as American Optometry Association.  Dr. Lemberg is originally from Marlboro, New Jersey. She speaks fluent Russian and Ukrainian.

She enjoys working with people, traveling, and learning about different cultures.  Dr. Lemberg is available for appointments in the Freehold, Jackson and Brick offices.

 

Ellie K. Patounas, OD

Dr. Patounas is an optometric physician with experience in primary eye care,contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management.  She is a graduate of the University of Rochester, where she received bachelor degrees in both Biology and Health & Society.

Dr. Patounas received her degree in optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry.  While at SUNY, she completed externships at the VA Extended Care Facility in St. Albans, NY and at the VA Connecticut Health Care Systems in West Haven, CT.  Active in the university community she was also a volunteer at several Special Olympics vision screenings.

Dr. Patounas also completed her residency in Primary Care Optometry at SUNY.  During her residency, she rotated through the eye clinic at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn and the TLC Center in Manhattan.  She also supervised interns at the SUNY Optometric Center and presented a continuing education course on HIV and the eye.

A New Jersey native, Dr. Patounas is a member of the NJ Society of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Society.  She is available for appointments in the Hightstown, Jackson and Monroe locations.
