Drasti Makwana, O.D.
Dr.
Drasti Makwana is an optometric physician with experience in primary
care, contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management. A North
Brunswick, NJ native, she graduated from Rutgers University with a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Mathematics. Dr. Makwana
earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of
Optometry, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Makwana contributes her
time and services to the BAPS Hindu organization which is involved in a
number of charitable projects throughout New Jersey and the United
States. Dr. Makwana enjoys yoga, outdoor cycling, and watching movies.
Dr. Makwana is available for appointments at our Freehold, Monroe, and East Windsor locations.
Talia M. Mishkin, O.D.
Dr. Talia M. Mishkin is an optometric physician with experience in
primary care, specialized contact lens fitting, corneal refractive
therapy (CRT), ocular disease management and low vision rehabilitation. Dr.
Mishkin serves as our contact lens sales manager and
chief of corneal refractive therapy (CRT). Dr. Mishkin earned her Doctor of
Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus
University, where she graduated with high honors. She is a member of the
American Optometric Association, NJ Society of Optometric
Physicians, and the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor
Society. She has received numerous academic awards including the GP Lens
Institute Award, the Noir Low Vision Award, an Allergan Travel Grant
Scholarship and three New Jersey Optometric Scholarships.
Dr. Mishkin is a graduate of The College of New Jersey where she
received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in
Japanese. She enjoys creative outlets such as painting, drawing and
photography. In her spare time she practices barre and
yoga.

Paul L. Sonenblum, O.D.
Dr.
Sonenblum is an optometric physician with experience in primary eye
care, contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management. He is a
graduate of the University of Massachusetts, where he received a
bachelor's degree in Biology.
Dr. Sonenblum received his degree in optometry from New England
College of Optometry in Boston. He completed externships at the VA
Hudson Valley in Montrose, NY and the New England Eye Institute in
Boston, MA.
Dr. Sonenblum is a member of the NJ Society of Optometric Physicians
and the American Optometric Association. He is available for
appointments in the Brick, East Windsor, Monroe, Jackson and Marlboro
locations.
Hina P. Zaidi, O.D.
Dr.
Hina Zaidi is an optometric physician with experience in primary care,
contact lens fitting and ocular disease management. A native of Howell,
NJ, she is a graduate of Lehigh University where she received her
Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry with high honors. She is a
member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Dr. Zaidi received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania
College of Optometry. During her training she gained experience in
ocular pathology at the Brooklyn VA Hospital. She was practicing
optometry in Tampa Bay before coming to Millennium Eye Care in 2010. She
is an avid reader and enjoys gardening in her spare time. Dr. Zaidi is
available for appointments at our Freehold, Marlboro, Brick and Jackson
locations.
