She provides comprehensive primary eye care, with a focus on dry eye treatment and contact lens fittings. Her training also includes pediatric care and binocular vision.
Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Dr. Abdelgawad is committed to increasing minority representation in optometry. Fluent in English and Arabic, she strives to offer compassionate, culturally sensitive care to all patients.
In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball and watching Star Wars. Additionally, she is a passionate Liverpool fan and loves watching English Soccer. On a more relaxing note, she takes pride in perfecting a good matcha latte—it’s one of her favorite ways to unwind.
Dr. Abdelgawad’s first day will be July 14th. She will be seeing patients in the East Windsor and Marlboro locations, as well as Freehold when it reopens.
